| the vineyard is different in the winter, eh? this photo was taken a few years ago when we received snow storm after snow storm. as you can see, the store is closed for the season. every winter dulcie papers the windows w/ WWD covers. |

employee spotlight: elizabeth simison |

liz has worked at b * tru. for a few years now - she weaseled her way into staff status by being an extra special customer. it was not her buying habits that made her stand out, but her great energy, her infectious smile & her ability to get away with saying whatever is on her mind... basically she makes us all laugh & we love her for that! liz is also busy making her students laugh at MVRHS - where she is teaching english. she has plans to get her masters in teaching this summer at UCONN (we're proud of you, liz!). but don't fret because she promises to return to the vineyard on the weekends to spend time with friends & to work at b * tru. here is a picture of liz & my son joshua taken late in the summer of 2006. note: she is wearing one of her own creations & it is unfortunately not something that can be purchased at b * tru.; however underneath it she is wearing one of her staples: a LA Made tank purchased @ b * tru. it is a must in anyone's wordrobe! |

| here stephanie (in polka dot tube dress) & i are celebrating trish's wedding. both stephanie & trish are former employees of b *tru. trish is living with her husband in marlborough, ma working at sephora (she is a licensed aesthetician); she still shops @ b * tru. when she is visiting her family at their house in chilmark. and stephanie is living in boston, ma; she recently got her masters (!) in audiology & is working towards a full time career in her field. we all make an effort to keep in touch - i am fortunate to have met such great people through the store! |
